International Families

Cambridge attracts students from all over the world who are at various stages of life. Visiting scholars from global universities arrive at Cambridge University to do research or teaching; mature students come to further their education later in life. 

Sometimes the whole family comes along with these scholars. These are wonderful times for the family; they can also be challenging as families look for activities for their kids and seek for form new friendships.

Christian churches in Cambridge warmly welcome internationals students and families. You do not need to be a Christian to join a church. Many churches have groups for the whole family - including for teenagers, younger children and babies. Please find more information on some churches on our website here

There are many great places for students and their spouse or partner to find activities and groups for little children. 

​

Here are some groups for internationals - mothers or fathers are welcome to bring their children. These groups range from social activities for adults (where children are welcome) to toddler & baby groups which will also have provision for adults to get to know each other.
